Welcome to the website of the Swedish celebrity chef Tina Nordström.

Tina Nordström became known to the Swedish public in 2001 with her own national cooking show ”Mat” (Food). Overnight she became the most popular TV chef and culinary darling in Sweden. Ever since then, her positive spirit and natural style has continued to inspire Scandinavians to make giant leaps in the kitchen.

After her debut she has starred in 13 seasons of different television shows on Swedish television and international networks. She also appeared on, and won, the Swedish celebrity dance competition Let’s Dance (Strictly Come Dancing, BBC) in the spring of 2008. Tina is arguably the most well-known and appreciated celebrity chef in the Nordic countries.

Tina is a strong advocate for local produce. Since 2007 she has cooperated with the organization “Swedish Meat Information” to help develop the Swedish meat industry. In the spring of 2008 Tina also launched a partnership with the Swedish grocery chain City Gross to help offer the Swedes higher quality and more variation in everyday cooking.

Tina’s understanding for what people want to cook and eat has proven hard to beat. On the homepage of her international show New Scandinavian Cooking you can find many of her most popular recipes.

Many of Tina’s cookbooks have been bestsellers and are translated into a number of languages one of which is “A Culinary Tour of Sweden”.
